ASJA Atlanta Writers Conference Coming UP

August 2, 2016 Leave a Comment

Mark Your Calendars for Nov. 5. ASJA Writers Conference

Mickey Goodman, Laurel-Ann Dooley, Echo Garret and I met on Echo’s colorful patio to plan the one-day southeastern regional conference which will be on the Agnes Scott campus.

Keynote speaker will be Robert Hicks, NYT best-selling author of The Widow of the South, launching his newest novel The Orphan Mother. Hicks is an authority on the Civil War and historic preservation.

The program is aimed for professional writers from the southeast and new writers hoping to place their work in popular paying markets. One day only. Stay tuned for more on the program and where and how to sign up. College students—watch for announcement of a new program designed especially for you.
